OHL Lightning Proof Fiting - JBC Insulation Piercing Connector


In the today's social life, people have increasing demand on electricity. The security requirements to power supply become higher and higher, especially to the city networks. Therefore, using the insulated conductors in power supply lines instead of bare wires is one of the effective measurements. When puncturing the insulated overhead conductors, higher requirements are forwarded related to the conductors splicing, branch connection and grounding protection. Application
•For the connection insulated overhead line.

Features and Benefits
•Simple installation. Put the main wire and the branch wire directly into the connector without
 wire stripping,tighten the torque nuts evenly with insulated socket wrench.
•Low resistance and low temperature-rise.the special bolts can ensure equal piercing pressure for superior electric contact and less 
wire damage,in order to make sure the normal service life of the pierced wire.
•Sealing structure and good insulation.The connectors are filled with insulated lubricant.As a 
result ,the sealing and waterproof structure can increase the insulated intensity and safety.
•Wide range of applications.They are applicable for the branch connection of copper or
 aluminum wires,equivalent or different diameter wires,and transit connection of copper wire 
with aluminum wire.


Installation
•Adjust the nut to a suitable location
•Insert the branch line to the cable cap
•Put the main line to the connector. Strip the first layer to a certain length if the main line has two insulation layers.
•Rotate the torque nut by hand, and fix the connector to a suitable location
•Tighten the torque nut with a suitable socket wrench
•Tighten the nut till it is sheared off.

Note:1.the conductors for piercing connectors must comform to national standard.
2. the workers must be extremely professional in their work.
3. please put on insulated gloves and use insulated wrench for live working.
4. Don't use it again after dismantlement due to its non-renewable character.
